          He is a very easy-going individual and very easy to handle during breeding season.  I usually handle both him and the mare by myself unless the mare is a problem.  I have owned him since he was a wild 13-month-old colt.  He was shown in Open Horse Show Circuits in 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993.  I do not have the time necessary, nor the funds available, to chase points nationally.

          Following a serious injury in May 1995 he was no longer able to compete in Western Pleasure.
I started showing him again, lightly, in 1997 and 1998 in Halter, Children's Lead-Line and Adult Walk-Trot.

1990 - Hi-Point Non-Pro Western; Reserve Hi-Point Sr. Western; Hi-Point Halter Stallion;
Hi-Point Overall for the Circuit.
1991 - Hi-Point Sr. Western ; Hi-Point Halter Stallion in 2 Circuits;
Reserve Hi-Point Sr. Western in another.
1992 - Hi-Point Sr. Western; Hi-Point Halter Stallion in 3 Circuits; Reserve Hi-Point English in 1 Circuit;
Hi-Point Overall in all 3 Circuits.  I do not ride English, a friend rode him for me.
1993 - Hi-Point Sr. Western; Hi-Point Halter Stallion; Hi-Point Overall all 3 circuits
This is the year we moved and missed the last two shows of the circuits.
All of these circuits required that you compete in Halter, Showmanship,
Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Trail and Equitation
at each show in order to qualify for year-end Hi-Point Awards.
In 1997 he was shown sporadically at Halter, in which he never placed below 3rd.
With my 4-year-old nephew aboard in Children's Lead-Line - Reserve Hi-Point.
In 1998 we decided to show seriously in Children's Lead-Line in 2 circuits.
He won 2 Reserve Hi-Points at Halter; 1 Hi-Point Children's Lead-line;
1 Reserve Hi-Point Children's Lead Line;
1 Hi-Point Adult Walk-Trot; 1 Reserve Hi-Point Adult Walk-Trot.
"BUC" has sired grulla, dun, red dun, buckskin, palomino, black, sorrel, bay, blue roan, and chestnut.
He has offspring registered with AQHA, PHBA, APHA, and ApHC.
Three of his Appaloosa foals are Point Earners at Halter, Yearling Lunge Line.and Most Colorful
          All of his foals have been very easy going and trainable.  For example, I'm Smart Money, a 1995 Appaloosa gelding, was shown as a weanling and had been ridden about 20 times as a 2 year old.  I did nothing with him for almost a year, went out in the pasture, put a halter on him and rode him back to the barn across 30 acres with 5 other horses loose.  He stopped twice, but started back off with no problems.  That is the kind of mind Buc puts in his babies.

          Miss Lily Langtree, a 1997 Grullo ApHC mare, is currently in reining training.    SOLD

          Blues Money Britches, a 1998 Chestnut ApHC gelding with blanket & blaze, was lunging better as a weanling during warm-ups at shows than most of the yearlings competing in the class itself.  He was High Point Weanling, High Point Yearling and took 2nd place at the Moark Aooaloosa Futurity in Yearling Lunge Line after only being shown one other time.  At 36 months, he stood 15.2hh and weighed 1,200 lbs.  He has had 6 months professional training where he has been exposed to many different situations including working cattle.  He would be best suited for English/Jumping, Ranch Work or Trail.   SOLD

          Blues Dusty Britches, a 1999 Grulla ApHC filly with blanket, 4 socks, star & snip.  1999: High Point Halter Weanling, 4th place in 3 Futurities.  2000:  Multiple Circuit High Point Halter Yearling and Reserve High Point Halter Yearling, Multiple Circuit High Point Yearling Lunge Line and Reserve High Point Yearling Lunge Line, 3rd place in 3 Futurities.  2001:  At 28 months, she stood 15.1hh and weighed 1,200 lbs.  High Point 2 & 3 Year Old Mares, Qualified for and went to ApHC World Champion Horse Show where she placed 9th in Non-Pro 2 Year Old Mares.  Earned ApHC points in Most Colorful.  2002:  Started her under saddle training on January 28, he was riding her January 30, loping her on February 3 with never one buck or refusal.  She is doing great and looks to be a western pleasure prospect.  She is For Sale, $8,000.

          Blues Navajo Wapiti, a 2000 deep dark brown, almost black ApHC filly.  2000:  Reserve High Point Weanling, 3rd place in two ApHC Futurities.  2001:  At 15 months she stood 14.1hh and weighed 860 lbs.    MoArk ApHC Futurity Champion in Yearling Lunge Line, Tri-State HSA Reserve Champion Yearling Filly &
Reserve Futurity Champion Yearling Lunge Line, Champion of Champions Reserve Champion Yearling Lunge Line, Qualified for and went to the 2001 ApHC World Champion Horse Show, Earned ApHC points in Hunter in Hand Mares.  2002:   She has just recently been started under saddle and is doing fine but we are taking it slowly, we do not like to push our babies and chance ruining their futures.  At 23 months she stands 14.3hh.   She is For Sale, $3,000.

          Bailarina Dorado, a 1998 AQHA Palomino mare is currently in training in Iowa.

          Royal Blue Skip, a 2000 AQHA Buckskin filly will be shown in ABRA - IBHA shows.   SOLD

      Blues Poco San, a 2001 AQHA Black filly out of Embrys Abby, NFQHA 82%.  For Sale $1,200.

      Blues Mighty Whirlwind, a 2001 ApHC Chestnut filly with snowflaking over hips.  Will be shown in Yearling Lunge Line in 2002.  For Sale $2,500.

      Blues Shadow Britches, a 2001 ApHC Black colt, 14.0hh at 11 months.  For Sale $800.  SOLD

          These are not exceptions.  They are the one's I have had direct experience with.  People who have bred their mares to BUC tell me thay have similar experiences with their foals.  Size, intelligence and ability, shouldn't every horse have it?
